Climate Bites

Community Networking Lunches

Join us for good food, good company and climate conversations!

Climate Bites is ECCAN’s free community networking lunch series, bringing people together from across Edinburgh to share food, ideas and inspiring conversations about climate action. Hosted by different organisations around the city, every Climate Bites is an opportunity to discover inspiring local projects, meet new people and explore how communities are responding to the climate and nature crisis.

Whether you’re already involved in community climate action or simply curious to learn more, everyone is welcome.

What to expect?

At a Climate Bites you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Enjoy a free lunch.

  • Meet people and organisations taking climate action across Edinburgh.

  • Hear about inspiring community projects.

  • Share ideas, ask questions and spark new collaborations.

  • Learn more about ECCAN and ways to get involved.

Each event is hosted by a different organisation, making every Climate Bites a chance to discover new places, projects and communities across the city.

Get Involved

  • Join us for lunch

Climate Bites takes place regularly throughout the year at venues across Edinburgh, with each session hosted by a different organisation.

Spaces are free, but booking is essential. New events are usually released around one month before they take place.

  • Host a Climate Bites

We’re always looking for organisations across Edinburgh to host future sessions.

Hosting is a great way to showcase your work, welcome new people into your space and spark conversations around community climate action. If you’re an ECCAN member and think your venue could host a future Climate Bites, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Help shape Climate Bites

Climate Bites continues to evolve thanks to the people and organisations who take part.

Whether you’ve attended before or are yet to come along, we’d love your feedback on future themes, timings, venues and ideas to help shape upcoming sessions.
