Join Artist as Advocate, ECCAN’s Arts and Culture sub-group, for a morning of poetry, conversation and connection at the Scottish Poetry Library.
Artist as Advocate’s monthly meet-ups bring artists and creatives together to share cultural experiences, meet peers and make space for reflection and conversation.
For October’s gathering, the group will explore the Scottish Poetry Library’s collection with poet Samuel Tongue, whose work often resonates with themes shared by the group. His debut collection, Sacrifice Zones, explores questions around landscape, extraction and our relationships with place.
You’re invited to bring along some writing of your own, a piece by someone else that you enjoy, or simply come along to listen, read and take part in the conversation.
New and returning participants are equally welcome.
