Our Neighbourhood in 2040 is a series of People’s Assemblies bringing local residents together to talk about the future of their neighbourhood.

These assemblies create a welcoming, open space for people to share experiences, discuss what matters locally, and explore ideas for how the area could develop in a fair, inclusive and sustainable way by 2040.

No prior knowledge is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to listen and contribute.

The second People’s Assembly builds on ideas shared in the first session. Participants will explore shared priorities in more depth and begin to imagine what a positive future for their neighbourhood could look like by 2040.

Guided discussions will support people to develop ideas around change, opportunity and community-led action.
