Our Neighbourhood in 2040 is a series of People’s Assemblies bringing local residents together to talk about the future of their neighbourhood.

These assemblies create a welcoming, open space for people to share experiences, discuss what matters locally, and explore ideas for how the area could develop in a fair, inclusive and sustainable way by 2040.

No prior knowledge is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to listen and contribute.

The final People’s Assembly brings the series together. Participants will reflect on ideas raised across earlier sessions, identify common themes, and discuss possible next steps.

The session focuses on how community voices can continue to shape conversations and action around the neighbourhood’s future beyond the assemblies.
