Community and Care: Looking After Self and Each Other in an Emergency

What does it mean to care for ourselves and one another during times of crisis?

This session explores the importance of community care, mutual aid and collective wellbeing in preparing for and responding to emergencies.

From strengthening relationships and local networks to recognising the emotional impacts of crises, the discussion will consider how communities can build the connections and practical approaches needed to look after one another.

An opportunity for community organisers, local groups and anyone interested in strengthening collective resilience through care and cooperation.
