**Cultural Competence, Awareness, and Adaptation Training**

Enhance your skills with our comprehensive training program designed for professionals at all levels who work with migrants in various capacities. This immersive experience covers essential topics such as cultural adaptation and its wide-ranging effects.

The training will explore the following concepts:

1. The importance of cultural awareness (acculturation).

2. Definitions related to culture, including cultural standards, norms, values, and customs.

3. Cultural dimensions (Hofstede’s Framework) and how to compare cultures using an online tool.

4. Effective communication strategies.

5. Cultural competencies and safeguarding practices.

6. Understanding the integration of migrants.

Duration: Full Day (6 Hours)

Pricing Options:

Open Training: £105 per person at ELREC for charities and public sector organizations. Refreshments and lunch are included.

On-Site Delivery for Charities and the Public Sector: £945 plus travel expenses for groups of up to 12 participants in Edinburgh postcode locations. Additional participants incur a fee of £65 each.

In-House Delivery for the Private Sector: £1,050 plus travel expenses for up to 12 participants in Edinburgh postcode locations. Additional participants can be added for £70 each.
