The Net Zero Transition in the Third Sector

The Net Zero Transition in the Third Sector

Edinburgh has a bold ambition to be a net zero city by 2030. Achieving this vital goal needs everyone to get involved – not just businesses, but also third sector groups and local communities. We know that taking those first steps towards net zero can feel overwhelming, and it's often hard to know where to begin.

That's why we're delighted to invite you to a special networking event, in partnership with the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce. This is a fantastic opportunity for third sector organisations and Edinburgh businesses interested in net zero to connect, share ideas, and discover the support available to help you on your journey.

During the event, you'll hear from Christopher McShane of Capella, a local charity that will share practical steps they've taken to reduce their carbon emissions and progress towards net zero. You'll also learn more about the support available through the Net Zero Edinburgh project, designed to guide community groups and businesses through their transition.

There will be dedicated time at the start of the event for cross-sector networking, allowing you to meet other organisations and businesses committed to a sustainable future.
