Gathering Resistance is a free day of conversation and connection, bringing together people and organisations working across environmental, social and human rights issues.
The gathering will bring together people from charities, community and volunteer groups, campaigns and direct action movements to meet, listen and learn from one another.
Recognising that many different groups are working towards positive change in different ways, the event will explore what communities and movements are collectively facing, how people are responding, and what can be learned by connecting across different areas of work.
The day will be carefully facilitated to create an open and equitable space for conversation, with everyone encouraged to contribute, listen and share their experiences.
Anyone interested in connecting with others working towards environmental and social change is welcome to attend.
