Everyone is warmly invited to David Baute's Black Butterflies' screening as presented by EMCA in partnership with Take One Action on the 17th of September at the Grassmarket Community Project!
Black Butterflies is a cutting-edge film that sheds light on the lived experiences of climate refugees—told through a strikingly intimate lens, primarily from women’s perspectives, capturing both vulnerability and strength.
Prior the screening we will also have a workshop with Razan Madhoon, María Paz Gonzales and Laura Carreira.
The event will shed light at the relations of climate change and social inequality.
