The Meadows Festival returns to The Meadows on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June for a weekend of free community activities, live music, workshops, food, markets and family-friendly events. Established in 1974, the festival is one of Edinburgh’s largest community festivals and brings together local organisations, performers, artists, traders and community groups from across the city. 

The 2026 programme includes outdoor performances, community stalls, wellbeing activities and creative workshops, alongside opportunities to get involved as a volunteer or stallholder. Entry is free and open to all ages.
