The 8th International Marine Conservation Congress (IMCC8) brings together scientists, policymakers, conservation practitioners, educators, students and community representatives from around the world to explore the future of marine conservation.
Under the theme ‘Marine Science for the Planet and its Peoples’, the five-day conference will explore how research, policy and collaboration can help address urgent challenges facing our oceans and marine ecosystems.
Organised by the Society for Conservation Biology’s Global Marine Program, the congress offers opportunities to share knowledge, build connections and explore approaches to protecting marine environments.
