A free presentation and workshop bringing people together to explore and discuss how growing spaces can be inspirational and radical spaces for cultivating connections with young people.
Looking at case studies from other cities and discussing local contexts, the session aims to encourage insightful exchange and feedback on recommendations and actionable steps to develop this work.
The session is facilitated by Toni, co-founder of Lauriston Farm, who spent four years at the farm before undertaking a Churchill Fellowship focused on urban agriculture and progressive engagement models. Through the fellowship, Toni visited places taking bold approaches to combining food production and youth engagement.
