How can communities turn renewable energy ideas into practical projects?

Join this free online session on Tuesday 29th September, from 1pm to 2:30pm, exploring how local electricity, heat and transport needs can be considered together when developing community energy projects.

Using HydroGlen at Glensaugh as an example, the session will explore how communities can understand local demand, resources and site constraints before choosing technologies. Alex Gauntt will also introduce RuraVolt, a free online planning tool designed to help communities explore their local renewable energy potential.

The session will finish with information on how SCCAN members can nominate a site for a free RuraVolt assessment.
