A year of community climate action: Join us for ECCAN’s AGM
Monday 23rd November 2026 | 6 – 7:30pm | Online
ECCAN is your community climate action network, and you have a say in how it’s run and where it goes next!
There’s been a lot happening across Edinburgh’s community climate action network this year. From supporting brilliant community-led projects through our Greenlight fund, to sharing skills, bringing groups together and building connections across the city, there’s plenty to look back on and celebrate.
But it’s the individuals, community groups and organisations across Edinburgh who make ECCAN what it is. Your ideas, experiences and the work you’re doing in your communities are at the heart of our network, and your voice matters in deciding its future.
On Monday 23rd November, we’re inviting you to join our Annual General Meeting (AGM) to celebrate what we’ve achieved together, elect members of our Board of Trustees and shape the direction of ECCAN for the year ahead.
What to expect
We’ll look back on another year of community climate action across Edinburgh, sharing highlights from the projects, partnerships and activities we’ve supported, and discussing our priorities for the coming year.
Most importantly, this is your opportunity to choose who represents you on ECCAN’s Board of Trustees.
Our trustees make important decisions about ECCAN’s direction, priorities and how we support community climate action across the city. By taking part in the board elections, members have a direct say in who guides the network and represents their interests.
It’s an important part of keeping ECCAN accountable to its members and ensuring the decisions we make reflect the communities we’re here to support.
Your network, your say
Whether you’ve been involved with ECCAN for years or have only recently discovered our network, we’d love you to join us.
ECCAN belongs to its members. The more voices involved in shaping its future, the stronger and more representative our network can be. This is your opportunity to take an active role in deciding what comes next.
The AGM is free to attend, open to everyone and will take place online. You don’t need to be an existing member to come along, although only eligible members can vote in the board elections.
Not yet a member?
ECCAN membership is free and open to anyone interested in community climate action in Edinburgh.
As a member, you can connect with others across the city, hear about local events and opportunities, access funding, training and resources, and get involved in shaping the network’s future.
