Our Annual Report for 2025-26 is now live and downloadable

This past year has been one of real momentum for ECCAN. We have continued to grow not only in scale, but in confidence - strengthening our role as a connector, enabler and champion of community climate action across Edinburgh. From supporting local initiatives via our Greenlight fund, to deepening partnerships across the city’s anchor organisations, we are seeing a clear shift: communities are not just engaging with climate action, they are leading it.

At the same time, 2026 has not been without its challenges.

Like many organisations in our sector, ECCAN has navigated funding uncertainty, rising demand, and the pressures of a rapidly evolving policy landscape. These challenges have tested us, but have also clarified our purpose. ECCAN has reinforced the importance of building resilient, well-supported community infrastructure that delivers lasting change.
