Thank You for Supporting Our Big Give Campaign – You Can Still Support ECCAN

A huge thank you to everyone who supported ECCAN’s first ever Big Give Small Charity Week campaign.

Together, we raised £1,401, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared our campaign or helped spread the word. Your support helps us continue connecting the people and organisations driving climate action across Edinburgh, turning local ideas into lasting impact.

Supporting Community Climate Action

Across Edinburgh, communities are creating greener neighbourhoods, restoring nature, reducing waste, growing food, improving access to sustainable transport and bringing people together to take climate action.

ECCAN exists to support that work.

Through our Greenlight grants programme, we help grassroots projects get off the ground. We also connect people and organisations across the city, share learning and opportunities, and help make climate action more accessible to communities across all of Edinburgh.

From transforming neglected spaces into thriving community gardens, to supporting low-carbon transport and homes, to bringing people together over food and climate conversations, we’ve seen time and again what local communities can achieve when they have the resources and connections they need.

Keep the Momentum Going

Although Big Give Small Charity Week has come to an end, our work continues.

Every year, new ideas come forward from communities across Edinburgh, and we’re committed to helping more of them become a reality.

You can now support ECCAN with a donation at any time through our website.

Around 70p of every £1 donated goes directly towards future Greenlight funding, helping more community-led climate projects take shape across the city. The remaining funds support the network itself - bringing people together, sharing knowledge and creating opportunities for collaboration that strengthen climate action across Edinburgh.

Every donation, whatever the size, helps build a greener, fairer and more resilient Edinburgh.

Support the network. Support community climate action.
