Our Neighbourhood in 2040 is a series of People’s Assemblies bringing local residents together to talk about the future of their neighbourhood.

These assemblies create a welcoming, open space for people to share experiences, discuss what matters locally, and explore ideas for how the area could develop in a fair, inclusive and sustainable way by 2040.

No prior knowledge is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to listen and contribute.

The first People’s Assembly focuses on listening and sharing. Residents are invited to reflect on what their neighbourhood is like today, what they value most, and what challenges they experience locally.

This session helps build a shared understanding of the area and sets the foundations for future conversations across the series.
