🌳 Tour of the Trees
Join Lauriston Agroecology Farm for an inspiring exploration of their trees and agroforestry practices on Sunday 1 February, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Discover why and how the farm is planting thousands of trees — including community orchard areas, woodland re-planting and productive agroforestry alleys — and learn about the role of trees in sustainable farming. The tour includes informal time in the Community Kitchen for soup, bread and chat, and is suitable for visitors of all experience levels.
Tickets are affordable with solidarity pricing from £3–£9, and some free places are available on request.
🎶 Orchard Wassailing
Stay on in the afternoon for Orchard Wassailing at the Lauriston Farm Community Orchard (2:00 pm – 3:45 pm).
This free, family-friendly celebration brings people together with tree songs, merry noise-making with bells and drums, simple crafts, greenery to wear, and mulled (zero-alcohol) apple juice.
Sing along, make a shaker, write messages for the trees and share good wishes for the growing season in this uplifting traditional event — no booking needed.
