What is Carbon Literacy?

Carbon Literacy provides knowledge and skills to tackle climate change locally. It's all about understanding the carbon impacts of everyday activities and learning practical ways to reduce emissions, becoming part of an informed, proactive community dedicated to creating a sustainable and resilient community.

Who is this training for?

Whether you're already working on climate initiatives or just getting started, this training will empower you. You'll dive into the core science of climate change, explore climate justice and relevant policies and learn how to translate that knowledge into meaningful action within your community.

Upon successful completion, you'll receive a globally recognised Carbon Literacy certification, an accreditation that showcases your commitment and expertise. Part of the certification sees you undertake two pledges on climate action, solidifying your commitment to making a difference in your community in a tangible and meaningful way.
