Looking for something creative to do during the October holidays? Edinburgh Tool Library is opening its community workshop to young makers and their adults for four mornings of making, experimenting and playing with wood.

Each session focuses on a different project:

Tuesday 13th: Make a whistle
Wednesday 14th: Make a noughts and crosses game
Thursday 15th: Build a robot
Friday 16th: Make a bird box

The sessions are beginner-friendly and all materials are included, so no previous woodworking experience is needed. Tickets are £20 for one adult and one child.

Tuesday 13th–Friday 16th October | 10am–12pm | Edinburgh Tool Library, 32 Tennant Street | £20 per adult-and-child pair

The workshop has a hearing loop, gripping aids and height-adjustable bench seats, and support workers or personal assistants are included within the ticket price.
