This November, Climate Bites is heading to Networking Key Services (NKS) for a lunchtime gathering and a chance to learn more about their work with women and families across Edinburgh.
NKS provides a platform for women and their families to come together and collectively address issues affecting their lives in Scottish society. We’ll hear more about their work and services, meet some of the people involved and share a free lunch cooked by NKS.
As always, Climate Bites is an informal and welcoming space to meet people from across Edinburgh and the ECCAN network, make new connections and exchange ideas. The conversation is shaped by whoever is in the room, so whether you’re already involved in community climate action or simply curious to find out more, you’re very welcome.
What to expect:
A free lunch cooked by NKS
An introduction to NKS and their services
Informal conversation and discussion
Time to meet and connect with others
An opportunity to volunteer after lunch
The event is free and open to all. If you have any dietary or access requirements, let us know when booking. Our Participation Fund can also help with costs such as travel and child support if this would make it easier for you to join us.
