Leith Chooses 2026–27: Applications Are Open

If you’re looking for more local funding opportunities and your organisation or group is based in Leith, applications are now open for Leith Chooses 2026–27.

Community organisations can apply for grants of up to £5,000 to bring new projects to life across Greater Leith. This year’s theme is ‘Greater Leith Harmony’.

Like our Greenlight Fund, Leith Chooses uses participatory budgeting, putting funding decisions into the hands of local people. Following the application period, people across Greater Leith will be invited to vote for the projects they would most like to see funded.

Thinking of applying?

Online support sessions are available for anyone looking for advice or guidance with their application:

17th August | 2:30–3:30pm
30th September | 5:30–6:30pm

In-person support sessions will also take place across the area, with dates to be announced.
