Join Edinburgh Communities Climate Action Network (ECCAN) and Hope for the Future for an in-person political roundtable bringing community voices into direct conversation with local politicians.
This session marks the final stage of our advocacy journey with Hope for the Future, building on the Advocacy Workshop at our Autumn Assembly and the online power-mapping session in January. Now we bring that learning into the room - creating space for open, meaningful conversations with MPs, MSPs and Councillors across the political landscape.
Event schedule
12:00–13:00 | Working lunch & preparation
Reconnect, revisit power mapping, and refine the key questions we want to pose. Matthew from Hope for the Future and the ECCAN team will support this session.
13:00–14:30 | Political roundtable
Facilitated, candid discussion with elected representatives on the issues that matter most for community climate action in Edinburgh.
14:30–15:00 | Close & informal conversations
Time to reflect, continue discussions and connect before the event ends at 3:00pm.
With the Scottish Parliament elections approaching in May, this is a timely opportunity to access decision-makers and help shape the conversations that matter.
Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
The venue is wheelchair accessible. If you have any access needs or dietary requirements, please let us know after booking so we can support you.
