Over the past couple of years Climate Bites has brought people together from across Edinburgh to share food, ideas and inspiring conversation around community climate action. Hosted by different organisations across the city, each session offers a chance to connect with others, hear about inspiring local work, and explore how we can respond to the climate and nature crisis together in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
As we look ahead to our 2026/27 programme, we’re taking the opportunity to refresh Climate Bites to make sure it’s relevant, accessible and focused on the conversations people most want to have.

Could You Host a Climate Bites?
Climate Bites is always evolving thanks to the people and organisations who make it happen.
If you’re an ECCAN member with a venue and would like to host a future Climate Bites, we’d love to hear from you. Hosting is a great opportunity to showcase your work, engage existing supporters, reach new audiences, and spark conversations around climate action within your community. We’re particularly keen to explore new themes, different formats and opportunities to connect with communities that haven’t yet been involved.
If you have an idea for a Climate Bites - whether it’s centred around food, creativity, nature, transport, wellbeing, culture or something completely different, we’d encourage you to share it through the survey.
